INTERSHIPS
Intern Objectives:
To provide an opportunity to interact with local emerging artist and musicians and to assist in encouraging independent entrepreneurs by distributing independent records,handmade crafts,zines,publications,and vintage clothing.
To collaborate in monthly art shows by aiding installations and contacting featured artist.
To explore new artist/musician material and to identify potential arts from the community for booking and work directly with L’KEG Gallery’s creative directors in decision making.
Intern must be reliable,flexible,consistent and overall be able to make instantaneous decisions and take initiative to develop good prospects when working in direct artist environment;some knowledge of HTML,basic Photoshop,familiarity with social networking communities,willing to learn more and must have own laptop.
SCHOOL CREDIT CAN BE OBTAINED OR USED FOR WORK REFERENCE.
VOLUNTEER
We are always looking for volunteers to assist in all events that come in all shapes and sizes.
We could use assistance on the following:
Street Team (distributes flyers,promotes events)
Sound
Workshop Development
